When do Berkshire Beaders meet?
All meetings are between 7:30 and 9:30pm, on the third Monday of each month - unless that day is a Bank Holiday, or too close to Easter, Christmas or New Year.
This page will display meetings for January to March, April to June, July to September or October to December, as we decide on what we'll do three months in advance.
Meetings for 2012, January to March
Monday 16 January, 7:30 - 9:30pm: Giulia's Crystal Bling Necklace
You'll need the following beads and findings for this project. For the necklace and toggle: 30x 8mm faceted round beads, 95x 4mm bicones, 64x 6mm faceted ovals, 10x 3mm faceted ovals, 1 seed bead, 2m fine monofilament. For the centrepiece: 4x 4mm cubes, 12x 4mm bicones, 8x 6mm faceted ovals, 4x 8mm faceted round beads, 12 seed beads, approx. 50cm fine threadable monofilament. You'll also need a needle, scissors, etc. You can use beads in one colour as shown in the photo below, or beads in toning or contrasting colours.
Monday 20 February, 7:30 - 9:30pm: Visit from Bead Spider and wired doughnut
Germaine from Bead Spider will provide a kit with doughnuts and wire for £7.00. You will also need wire cutters, and flat and round nose pliers. (BB has some wire, wire cutters and pliers.) If you want to bring your own: you will need a doughnut, .6 or .7 wire and a few 4mm or 6mm beads or crystals.
Monday 19 March, 7:30 - 9:30pm: Linda's Beaded Bead
Bring along an assortment of Delicas, size 15, 11 and 8 seed beads, and 2-4mm round crystals in colours of your choice. Plus the usual beading supplies, Fireline, scissors, needles, etc.
